The Gifts of Crossroads Career: Family

Celebrating Family

As we are in the time of year where we celebrate the birth of Jesus we often do so with family. Family is everything to us. Whether we are close to them in proximity or they are in a different part of the world they are still family. Friends and acquaintances become family. So, as we get to celebrate with family this year, give thoughts to who is in your family.

Crossroads Career is family. It means getting connected with a group of God loving Christians and getting the nudge you need in order to get on the right path towards finding your next opportunity. Whether or not you are seeking a Guide or signing up for an amazing group, you’ll be in the company of family. Sharing with others the successes and the failures you have had while searching for a new job, is something you can feel comfortable doing among your Crossroads Career family.  Being a part of the Crossroads Career family allows one to find the right resources, at the right time, on their unique path, and as we know, that is all part of God’s timing.

Genuine Support

Being on the receiving end of such talented and caring individuals who have helped push me to where I am today over the past few trying years, has been an eye opener and provided many blessings.  I have had the pleasure of meeting a few of the many talented Crossroads Career Guides, and several along this path have given me grace and instructions on how to network when I did not want to network (Dave stop grinning). Crossroads Career gave me a gentle nudge and now I can also help guide others in their search and this has been really a rewarding experience.  Galatians 6:10 reminds us: “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” When there is a team of individuals willing to not only help, but to genuinely support your path, that is truly what family is and that is how I view Crossroads Career.

There is a leader who once said that when you give you get back in return. And when you help someone else while you are going through a job transition, you will sharpen your skills at the same time. I have truly seen the goodness in the Crossroads Career organization from all whom have helped me and I am honored to give back to others just as Crossroads Career has given to me. Thanks for being in my family.
