As Crossroads Career closes out 2022, Psalms 98:1 resonates with me, “Sing the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things….” And so many things…some planned, but many unforeseen through our human goal-setting and prioritization process! Grateful for THAT!
If you’re like me looking back at 2022, many things were accomplished and yet there are so many things yet to be done for us to fulfill the Crossroads mission to educate, equip, and encourage people to hear God calling, maximize their potential, and get the right job.
2022 Blessings
I’m so pleased to be able to share what God has done through Crossroads Career in our 2022 / 2023 Impact Report! Most importantly, people’s lives have been affected! Here’s a quick word from Heidi:
“I feel very hopeful because of the quality and ongoing help I am receiving from [Crossroads Connect]. I am also utterly amazed and so thankful that this service is cost-free: that is a significant gift of grace. I have already shared Crossroads with others who are connected to people who could use this help. The icing on the cake…or perhaps the cake itself… is how Christ-centered the ministry is. I am amazed and so thankful that at 50, God has provided a network of godly, quality help as I transition into a new calling.
In addition to multiple stories, here are a few stats, with many more worth your review:
- We QUADRUPLED the number of mobile app users from the previous year to be able to truly meet people wherever they are whenever they want!
- We reached more than 1,400 people virtually with our monthly Online Workshop that is geared toward serving the Job Seeker.
- Web visitors, site sessions, and conversions all increased by 17%, 21%, and 24% respectively.
- More than 1.2 million jobs are available through the Job Connector site featured on our website.
2023 Expectations
As we look forward into 2023, Ephesians 3:20-21 immediately comes to mind, “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.”
Our expectations are high for us to capitalize on the 2022 Expansion theme we accomplished to now reach for our 2023 Reconnection theme. Clear baselines and direction has been achieved, and now we want to reconnect with so many people that have experienced Crossroads Career over the past 37 years.
So many people who are unfulfilled or unemployed are struggling, and we have the people and resources to help them. We just need to reconnect them to the source, which God has enabled us to provide.
As a Connector, we’re asking everyone seeing this note to think for just a minute…who do you know that you could pray for and point toward Crossroads Career? Let’s directly minister to others in ways that allow them to fulfill their own personal purpose and mission through their careers! Reconnect!
