As we close 2021 and begin 2022 I want to start by saying thank you for your continued support and interaction with us at Crossroads Career. We have so much to be grateful for including meeting in person once again with our Atlanta conference this year. It was so nice to see some of you face-to-face after several years without a conference and we look forward to many more in the future.
New Year’s always feels like a clean slate and a chance to start off hopeful, focused, and renewed. With that in mind I wanted to share a Psalm that really spoke to me in a recent quiet time in hopes that it can be your prayer for 2022 as it is mine:
‘Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. Rescue me from my enemies, Lord, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good spirit lead me on level ground’ – Psalm 143:8-10
As you place your requests for this next year before the Lord I encourage you to begin with gratitude for all the Lord has done this past year. Then pray faithfully. We hope that 2022 will bring many of you new jobs, new opportunities for growth, fulfillment in your current jobs, promotions, and more as we walk alongside you through your career seasons here on the blog and in our ministry. We were purposeful in beginning a direct-to-consumer model where you have even more access to our help and we can’t wait to see that lead to even more connections this year and beyond.
I know that while this time can be exciting and hopeful it can also be exhausting and overwhelming. If you’re coming off the holidays feeling anything but hopeful then the same suggestion applies – pray scripture over your life. The bible is full of examples of the Lord showing up for the weary and burdened and for his provision beyond comprehension (feeding five-thousand people with one boy’s lunch for example). So press in, take heart, and reach out to us as you ramp up for this year – we are here to serve and help you through these seasons.
If you have a verse or several you’re praying over 2022 please share them with us in the comments, we’d love to read them.
Happy New Year and stay tuned: we are ready for an exciting 2022.

Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed reading this post. One of my favorite verses reminds me, For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life. Ephesians 2:10 (BSB version)
Beautiful verse for sure!
