What is the Crash Course? This class will help guide you how to find a job if you are unemployed, anticipating a career transition or simply unfulfilled in your present job. Using the Crossroads Career Services workbook You Are Created for Good Works, we will guide you through each of the 7 career transition steps plus provide updated information based upon the current marketplace. We’ll have 3 team members online: the host, a facilitator (subject matter expert) and a chat monitor to answer questions and provide additional resources. This will be our 102nd class since 2010!
Unique! Many of classes are offered over 1-2 months. We are unique in that we complete all 7 sessions in just over 2 weeks, helping you to get moving quickly in your search!
Online! This class will be offered online using Zoom, allowing anyone, anywhere to attend! We started offering the class in-person in the Metro Atlanta area, but since moving the class online in 2020, our participants come from all over the USA.
When? Our orientation begins at 6:30 PM EDT on Tuesday, September 10 and remaining sessions will be on September 12, 16, 17, 19, 23, 24th. Intense? You bet it is! Each session starts at 6:30 PM (Eastern Time Zone) and will be 2 hours long. There are 7 sessions, each covering a different topic, but all work together to provide attendees with a solid approach to navigating their career journey! Is there a cost? The cost of the class is $10, which is paid online when you register. You will also need to purchase the workbook, You Are Created for Good Works, directly from Crossroads Career Services. This workbook uses a “7-Step Action Plan” to help you hear God’s calling and get the right job! We recommend purchasing the digital/PDF copy for $7.99. If you already have the workbook, you do NOT need to purchase an additional copy.
