During your transition, have you ever said to yourself “I wish I had someone to talk to that understands what I’m going through?” God designed us for community and the career transition process is a time when it is crucial not to try to go it alone. A Small Group provides an opportunity to get connected with others in a similar season of life.
Purpose
To provide a structure and Facilitators for a small group of individuals to build relationships through shared experiences for support and accountability during their job search. As stated in Proverbs 27:17, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”
Meetings
The Group meets weekly for five weeks via Zoom. The next Group begins Tuesday, June 30 at 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time with meetings on subsequent Tuesdays July 7, July 14, July 21, and July 28.
Meeting Agenda
The general meeting structure is:
- Member sharing (last week’s goals/successes/challenges, next week’s goals)
- Group discussion on relevant topics such as interviewing, networking, etc.…
