What is the Crash Course? This class will you if you are unemployed, anticipating a career transition or simply unfulfilled in your present job. Using the workbook You Are Created for Good Works, we guide you through each of the 7 career transition steps with additional info based on the current marketplace. Each session has 3 team members online: the host, a facilitator (subject matter expert) and a chat monitor to answer questions. This will be our 104th class since 2010!
Unique: Similar classes are usually offered over 1-2 months. We are unique in that we complete all 7 steps in just over 2 weeks, helping you to get moving quickly in your search!
Online! This class will be offered online using Zoom, allowing anyone, anywhere to attend! Since moving the class online in 2020, our participants come from all over the USA.
When Does the Class Meet? Our first session begins at 6:30 PM EDT on Monday, November 4th and the remaining sessions will be on November 7, 11. 14. 18 and 20th. Each of the six 2-hour session starts at 6:30 PM (Eastern Time Zone) and each session covers a different topic, but all work together to provide attendees with a solid approach to navigating their career journey! Network Lounge: On November 11, 14, 19, and 20th, at 6:15 PM, there will be a 15-minute Networking Lounge available to allow you time to informally talk with other participants before the class.
Is there a cost? The cost of the class is $10, paid online when you register.
Workbook? You will also need the workbook, You Are Created for Good Works, available directly from Crossroads Career Services. We recommend purchasing the digital/PDF copy for $7.99. If you already have the workbook, you do NOT need to purchase an additional copy.
