What a year it has been so far
Crossroads Career began 2018 with a new plan and fresh provisions from God. In February the Lord brought Brian Horvath as our new executive director. In April, we updated our branding with a new logo and new colors! In May, Brian and our board of directors met for a Wednesday-Sunday prayer and planning retreat to seek God in affirming and activating His ministry…Purpose: Help people find and follow Jesus Christ through crossroads in their careers
Vision: Everyone realizes they are God’s masterpiece created for good works
Mission: To educate, equip and encourage people to hear God calling, get the right job and maximize their career
God has graciously given us a great start with over $200,000 for the operational costs of the ministry over the next 18 months as well as having others join us to further develop the vision that God has placed in our hearts. In addition to Brian Horvath as the new Executive Director, our team added James Moore as a new Board member and Scott Crossland in Administration and Operations. These additions to our team, coupled with the experience of our existing team members, provide fuel for the focus we need to pursue our strategic initiatives. We are also grateful for the gifts and talents our ministry partners are sharing with us. Thanks to Cedric Allen for videoing and Phil Erhardt for editing a message from Brian Horvath, entitled ‘Created for Good Works.’ Click below to view Brian Horvath’s spiritual resume and new calling Brian recently shared at the Roswell United Methodist Church Job Networking event. And why do we do what we do? Read a note that we received from Rachel B…“You have no idea how much you helped by introducing me to Crossroads. Because of the course, I am hopeful and confident that I am going to find employment where I will use my God-given gifts and talent to do good work.”Want to help us help others? Because of this ministry, I have reconnected with my passion this time correctly. Giving all the glory to God as the one who prepared me for His good works.

I’ve taken the Crossroads Career curriculum in class and now I’m a Co-leader for the “Career and Finance” group at the Van Dyke GFC campus! It’s a blessing!!!
I’ve learned so much already and I’m excited to see what else God has in store for my future!
God bless!
